My mom was obsessed with crewel kits when she was in college and early-mid twenties. She has several finished projects (my favorite being Vincent Van Gough's Sunflowers) that are sometimes allotted wall space. I used to be fascinated with them as a child and it's so fun to see it all coming back. About five years ago, unbeknownst to me she gave away all her now-vintage unfinished crewel kits to my sister's friend. For shame! At least someone is getting use out of them.

It's one of my favorite things to use for pillows!! Rare to find one with a modern sensibility, but when I do I'm always in awe of how great the pillow is!
