New Tutorial! (in the left-hand column)
Forget plastic wrap and foil. Here is an alternative that is much more attractive! This Eco Travel Lid is perfect for short-term food storage, especially while traveling to a picnic or party. This is not intended for long-term storage since it will not create an air-tight seal.
In the tutorial I have explained how to make a bowl cover, but this could be easily adapted for other containers as well (9x13, platter, etc). Very fun, fast and eco-friendly...give it a try!
definitely need to whip up a set of these this summer, simply brilliant, and beautiful! i've included the link in my weekly roundup of inspiration, blogged here:

Allyson,
On the Eco Travel lids, can you use vinyl on the inside instead of the ripstop nylon? Or, would there be something about the vinyl that you might not want to use it? I don't want to purchase a large amount of rip stop and don't know off hand where I would purchase it from. thanks! They are very cute! jsut thought the vinyl would be "wipe cleanable"!

This is a very good idea! Just want to say thank you for the information, you have to share. Just continue to write such a position. I will be your faithful reader. Thank you again.
