Back from a too-quick visit to Cape Cod! M & D rented a cute cottage on a perfect little pond. M & D, my twin sister, brother & wife & 2 kids, myself & Micah and my nephew piled in for the week. I knew this vacation was a good one when the tears burst from Micah's eyes as we waved good-bye to my nephew and headed for home. The kind of tears that made me want to jump into the backseat of the car and hug him for having such a big heart. Unfortunately, I was driving. Thankfully, my twin sis was already leaping between the seats before I had the chance to say a word of comfort to him. Signs of a good vacation indeed.

yay, you're back. I missed you the past couple of months in blog world. Looks like you had a great vacation. Love the pics.

that photo is adorable - it looks as though he's being eaten by a giant butterfly. go back & look; the water on either side are the wings.

I really enjoyed your vacation post. My oldest (now 25 with his own baby on the way) is named Micah. So glad to see this wonderful name shared by your sweet, sensitive boy.
