Not Another Post About Vintage Fabrics from eBay?
Yup, it's another post about vintage fabrics from eBay. I can't help it, I'm obsessed. The secret's out. Did you know that there are about 4,000 vintage fabric listings on eBay right now? Did you also know that I've viewed each and every one of those 4,000 listings? (well actually I don't click on the listings without a photo) It amazes and then saddens me to watch these gorgeous fabrics slip away, possibly never to be seen again. It makes me appreciate my new fabrics, knowing that someday someone might long for a piece of that Alexander Henry fabric and I had it at my disposal. Ok so here they are, please make sure you read the descriptions before bidding - I can't be held responsible for any yellow marks or false claims of vintageness!

But where's your Austrian fabric? That is crazy that you've looked at all 4000. But I must confess I've looked at all the listings before for retro fabrics. My new Japanese prints are coming in the end of next week...Ooooweee!

Obsessions are fun, but they keep me broke! I wish I had a free obsession. I love the fairy tale fabric, really reminds of something from my childhood.

So funny, I just got done browsing this section myself, and have bid on half the ones you've posted!

Thanks for putting this all together! It certainly is nice to have a smaller list to look through. I don't think I'd make it through all 4000.

I also spend many hours going through ebay listings of fabrics. It is great to have someone narrow it down for me for a change.

If only I didn't have so much fabric sitting here at home waiting for me to make things with it! My sewing machine hasn't seen much action since the start of the summer. My yard and other outside work have required my attention.
BTW, the vintage hankie wristlets you made are really adorable.

Holy moly! You're totally obsessed. Thanks so much for sharing your obsession, those are all wonderful. I especially love that strawberries and floral fabric in the middle. Ooh and the bottom left, with all its brightness.

Loving these fabrics! It's been hard, now that I'm not doing the shop, I don't have lots of extra money for fabric. While we were moving, my friends (the movers) kept commenting on how much fabric I had. I told them that I had just sold lots of it and they were amazed. It's just hard for me NOT to buy fabric = )

I feel your pain! I love all of them. I have the sewing instructional books sitting in from of me. Now, If I could just find the time to learn! I would have a use for all of the vintage fabrics.
