The End
The Bookmark is closing at the end of July.
It's very hard for an independent bookstore to compete these days and I think we can all understand why that is.
I'll continue to whip up goodies for these final weeks.
And hope for a new door to open. (Thankfully the Bookmark's co-owner Sheila is helping me big-time in this department.)

Ugh...sorry to hear about that Allyson. I am sure a new avenue will open for you!

That’s a real shame. Hopefully all affected will have brand new opportunities open up. I certainly believe that you will!

oh my heart is broken! the news that yet another little book store is closing it's doors makes me so sad. i try to show as much love as i can to the "little guy" and i'm losing my favorite shops left and right. i guess the good news is that with the bookmark closing all the left over allyson hill goods will make it to your etsy shop, right?! why not open your own little boutique? =)

Oh Allyson, that is sad for both of you. I'm so sorry to hear that. The store, if it carried things as beautiful and sunny as yours must have been very special.

Oh...hopefully something else will open up for you soon. I always try to give out little shops in town business but sometimes it just doesn't work out! Hopefully something else will come for you!

I'm sorry Allyson. I'm sure you can easily find another shop to carry your lovely items (everything you make is so cute). Take care = )
