Whew, I haven't posted in a while so this will be an XL post! (well for me at least) First of all, Micah's birthday party was a blast. The kids were hilarious and very enjoyable. I came up with 4 games for them to play and they participated with much excitement. The best part must have been when my sister (Yaya) shoved the defeated White Witch Pinata on her head and chased the kids around.
I whipped up project #3 - Royal Crowns. I wasn't sure if 6 year olds would appreciate the crowns, but they did! I made them out of a shiny gold fabric and they were actually very easy. Perhaps I will make up a tutorial? It is nice to have a crown in the costume box that won't crush or break.
Here is a baby quilt I made for my good friend She will be giving it as a gift to an artist-friend who's abstract paintings decorate her walls. I was very excited to be making this for him since I enjoy his paintings every time I visit her.
I have been busy making some new accessories to sell at the Bookmark (a bookstore in Latham, NY). I call them Bitty Clips and Pony Pops. I used MaryMo's tutorial to learn how to make them, sometimes it's nice to have the figuring out figured out for you! I won't be selling these in my Etsy shop, just locally.
And I put together a ton of button packs for the Bookmark too:
